Were you in an accident recently? Maybe you are in pain and are not sure why. Either way, the chiropractic team at Complete Health Chiropractic Center is here to help. We provide multiple chiropractic services to help provide relief and treat the underlying cause of your pain.
Not only do we use state-of-the-art technology, in-house x-rays, and computerized testing, but we also take the time to listen to each patient to ensure we understand your needs and concerns to the fullest.
At the first visit, we start to build a complete picture of your health and figure out the best ways to treat your pain. Then, we head into our three phases of chiropractic care. We call this the road to recovery.
3 Phases of Chiropractic Care in the Road to Recovery
Here at Complete Health Chiropractic Center, we strive to provide comprehensive chiropractic care to help your pain levels. Here are the three phases in our road to recovery:
Phase #1: Chiropractic Relief Care
When you first come to Complete Health Chiropractic Center, we’ll start with an initial exam. We’ll review your health history and use computerized technology and thermal scans to see how the body and central nervous system (CNS) are working together.
We may also use a pulse wave profiler to determine how stressed you are and what type of stress your body might be undergoing. Next, we’ll show you a report of our findings and provide chiropractic relief care.
At this point in the chiropractic treatment, our goal is typically to realign the joints. Joint misalignments (or subluxations) can affect the communication between the body and CNS, which could be the reason for your pain.
At our chiropractic office, we help patients overcome various types of pain, including neck pain, back pain, headaches, arm and leg pain, and organ issues (e.g., an upset stomach or heartburn).
We’ll focus on helping you overcome your symptoms so that you are no longer in pain and can feel at ease again after an accident, injury, or illness. Then, once you get the relief care you need, you can decide on the best corrective care for you.
Phase #2: Corrective Care With Chiropractic Treatment
Before we get started with corrective care, we often perform a re-examination and put together a wellness plan. This helps accelerate the healing process and keeps symptoms from coming back.
The corrective care phase is the longest and most important part of your treatment. Our chiropractor will work alongside you to determine the underlying cause of your discomfort.
We may then recommend a variety of treatment methods, including chiropractic adjustments, exercises you can do from the comfort of your home, small changes to your lifestyle, and massage therapy.
At this stage, we like to use a weight loss analogy. If you stop working out and making good eating choices, you might regain the weight you lost. However, if you continue with healthy eating and regular exercise, you can help your body maintain your progress.
Another way to think about it is like braces. If you leave your retainer on, you’ll teach your body to leave your teeth in place. The same applies to chiropractic care. If you continue with regular chiropractic treatment, you’ll teach your spine to stay in alignment.
You might be feeling good, but you’ll still want to see a chiropractor regularly to help keep the adjustment in place. Chiropractic care helps your body get stability. Corrective care helps your body maintain that.

Phase #3: Chiropractic Wellness Care
After getting the right corrective care, many patients move on to wellness care (or maintenance). We see patients less often at this stage.
Not everyone does wellness care, but it is important to help your body continue to heal and feel better. Chiropractic wellness care does not typically happen over a specified time frame but over a lifetime. It should become part of your lifestyle.
During your visits, we’ll be sure to discuss stressors (physical, chemical, and emotional) that affect your spinal alignment. Our objective is to help you get healthy and maintain your progress with your spine and CNS.
In the wellness phase, we’ll provide a series of exercises and stretches for you to perform at home. We’ll also discuss the importance of drinking plenty of water, maintaining your nutrition with healthy foods, getting plenty of sleep, and keeping up a positive mental attitude.
Maintenance can help your body get the healing it needs. It also offers an opportunity for us to identify and correct any new issues within the body. Our mission is to help you reach the best health, and with the right chiropractic care and wellness, anything is possible.
